Fire on Bedford PK Blvd

This morning on October 25, 2015, there was a big fire on Decatur Ave near Bedford Park Blvd. While getting off the Bx41 bus to head to church, I saw a huge black cloud. Rushing over I saw that the cloud coming from behind a church. All the members were standing outside. I spoke with a man and he said it doesn't look like it was his church. Fortunately, he was right; unfortunately, it seemed to be the Laundromat behind it.

At least eight fire trucks surrounded the scene and caution tape cornered off the streets. Walking up Bedford PK BVLD I saw the flames. Most people assumed it was the Laundromat and that the fire was caused by gas or electric fire. The cloud of black flowed almost like a canal.

It seemed no one was I'm the building when it burned and I saw no one being carried away on a stretcher or anything life that. Many people were posting on Sano Chat and taking pictures of what was happening. The fire fighters worked fast and diligently. The source of the fire is still unknown to my understanding but hopefully there's an answer for why this tragedy happened.

The fire was in full flames at 9:30am. By the time I left church around 1pm, the sky was clear again.
