Another successful night in the books! Impossible Odds, once again brings a night of fun and hip-hop to Tilly's BKLYN. With his gentlemen swagger, talented band and message of love, Impossible Odds was a crowd pleaser.
It's all about spreading Brooklyn love when The Odds grabs the mic. This local artist shared his love for his borough last night with the hungry and thirsty folks of Tilly's BKLYN. Dining at this venue was a wonderful experience as their food and drinks were tasty; the perfect place to hear quality music.
I got to enjoy their fried chicken wings: hot and savory. Big and delicious. It came with a creamy and spicy sauce that made it even easier for me to scarf it all down. I also had their garlic fries, a crowd favorite. And what else to wash it down with than their sangrias? The atmosphere was definitely perfect for the good energy Impossible Odds and his band brought.
Part I of the show brought a chill, jazzy feel. Liquid Avery on the drums and Hazat the Saxophonist really helped with that. The Eloquent Jean on the keys kept it all smooth. The Odds set the tone with his favored track "The Essence", one that gives an overall feel for what The Odds is about. Check it out on his mixtape Undeniable ILL! Amongst the audience, you would see people bobbing, nodding and as DJ One calls it. seat dancing. Impossible Odds was front and center just having a good time. As he did some footwork, shouted out his band and busted some freestyles; it's clear The Odds is a wordsmith and entertainer. He loves what he does and ensures supporters have a really good time. The team is solid, particularly DJ One, who held down the tunes during the intermission.
Play Afrobeat at a gig and I'm up and dancing! Luckily that seems to be the sentiment for the Tilly's crowd last night. Even Impossible Odds got in the mix. DJ One also played Reggaeton and just gave the crowd a nice vibe while we drank and awaited part two of Impossible Odds set.

Another track heard from Undeniably ILL was "Fallin' In Love", showing a more romantic side of The Odds. The ladies seemed ok with that. We also got to hear "Quite Exquisite", "Bogas" and the crowd favorite "BROOKLYN"! It's always such high energy when it comes to the track "BROOKLYN". Everyone shouts out the borough, rocks a little harder and throw their hands up. It's hard not to when The Odds is so hype, giving the whole room energy. And rightfully so; as The Odds reps hard for his home and wants locals to hear him and feel the good vibrations throughout BedStuy. Pedestrians poked their heads in, parked their bikes to listen and walked in to see who was bringing the party. What a great night! Bravo, Impossible Odds! And of course a thanks to the band and DJ One. Follow The Odds and look out for upcoming events!
