52 Essays 2017: This is a Catch Up Essay

So I've been behind toe essay for a few weeks now. I just don't feel this is the point of the essay challenge: to fall behind. I think the point is to spend whatever time you can each week getting a sentiment out. So that should include the small sentiments I don't feel are essay worthy.

This challenge has been great; it definitely has me writing more! I've also been getting more of an idea of what I want to be about as a blogger. I'm one of those writers who enjoys writing about a multitude of topics, so when a web designer asked me what kind of writing will I be doing, I had to really reflect on my answer. I can't write about everything and brand myself, so it's been great seeing what topics typically come to mind as I write these essays.

There was a friend I started this journey with, who unfortunately couldn't participate in this challenge anymore. However, when she was still involved I recall her feeling she didn't have enough time to write. I recommended she write anything, even if it was three short paragraphs, or less. But low and behold when I began feeling pressed for time, I did not take my own advice and instead neglected my own advice. Well not anymore! I think my writing what I can as the weeks come will give others better insight of my writing process too.

So here is a short and sweet catch up essay, and hopefully my last catch up essay!
